Paul Gerstenfeld MS, OTR/L, CHT

Paul Gerstenfeld is a certified hand therapist who earned a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with his undergraduate degree in Recreational Therapy, minoring in Psychology. He has nearly 20 years of experience designing, replicating and collaborating in the construction of orthotics. He excels in creating adaptive devices and modifying existing tools helping people become more independent.

As owner and operator of Hands On OT over the last 9 years, mentoring newer therapists and collaborating with experienced ones in treating the upper extremity has been an integral endeavor.

Before becoming an OT, Paul taught English as a Second Language, physical education, massage therapy and worked in special education with troubled youth. His clinical skills in concert with a rich, multidisciplinary background help in treating the person rather than the injury alone.
